Not only can this machine achieve greater cutting speeds, the machine uses automatic intelligent cutting functions incorporated by Mazak, developed over many years to ensure high quality , high efficiency Laser cutting.
Automatic Nozzle Changing System
The Mazak OPTIFLEX 3015 Fibre II incorporates an Automatic Nozzle Changing System , which selects the optimum lens and nozzle automatically depending on the material and thickness, and changes them. With this feature, quality of the component increases and cutting times are reduced.

Focus Detection
Auto Focus Positioning
This machine also has Focus Detection , where it saves time verses against conventional set-ups in finding the optimum Focal Point, as it Automatically calibrates itself.
Another feature that increases performance is Auto Focus Positioning. This automatically changes the Focal Point, for the optimum piercing and cutting position, giving maximum productivity.
Another advantage when processing medium to thick materials , the intelligent piercing sensor stabilises piercing operations, as it detects when the beam pierces the material and completes piercing the hole, creating a continuous piercing operation with the minimum piercing time, again increasing productivity.
